Install

Install VOLTRA safely on macOS.

VOLTRA 1.0.0 ships as VST3, AU and standalone for macOS 11.0 or later. Use the package installer first, then the fallback command only if macOS blocks the installer on a specific Mac.

  1. Open Install VOLTRA.pkg.
  2. Follow the macOS installer.
  3. Open your DAW and rescan plug-ins if VOLTRA does not appear immediately.
  4. Launch /Applications/VOLTRA.app for standalone use.

If macOS blocks it

Gatekeeper approval

  1. Click OK or Accept. Do not move the installer to Trash.
  2. Open System Settings and go to Privacy & Security.
  3. In Security, choose Open Anyway for Install VOLTRA.pkg.
  4. Confirm and run the installer normally.

On Spanish macOS: Privacidad y seguridad then Abrir igualmente.

If the package installer is blocked on a specific Mac, run Install VOLTRA.command from the downloaded DMG.

The fallback installer tries the standard system locations first. If they are not writable, it installs user-level copies.

Apple security notice

VOLTRA 1.0.0 is distributed without an Apple Developer ID certificate. Some systems may show an unidentified developer warning. The installer and fallback command remove quarantine attributes from installed VOLTRA bundles and repair executable permissions using standard macOS tools only.

No Xcode, xcrun, lipo or Apple Developer Tools are required on your Mac.

Updates

New versions stay in Gumroad.
