01 — ENGINE
A complete instrument, built around motion.
Two analog-style oscillators provide Sine, Saw, Triangle and Pulse waveforms, hard sync, drift, unison, detune, wavefolding and ring modulation. A dedicated Sub/Noise section adds low-end weight, transient texture and White, Pink or Blue noise.
The Digital Engine switches between Wavetable and Resonator without leaving the main instrument view.
02 — WAVETABLE / RESONATOR

Wavetable and Resonator are the two modes of the Digital Engine, switchable without leaving the main instrument view.
03 — FILTERS / MODULATION
Eight filters. Four envelope pages. One Matrix.
LP24, LP12, Band Pass, High Pass, Notch, Comb, Analog and ZDF models cover deep low-pass weight, acid resonance, focused motion and comb-filtered texture. Amp, Filter and Aux envelopes shape dynamics and tone, and the multi-segment ENV page creates looping and evolving modulation with tempo-aware divisions, shape, slew, attack, loop and release controls.
Four LFOs, envelopes, Macros, Motion Envelope, Chaos, velocity and expressive sources can animate the instrument. Drag compatible sources directly onto a control for immediate assignments, or use the Matrix for deeper routing and precise amounts. Static halos show assignments while live arcs show movement.
04 — MOTION FILTER / FX
Filtering, movement and processing inside every patch.
Motion Filter combines multimode filtering, tempo-synced movement, envelope response and a live analyzer. The integrated chain includes Drive, Bitcrusher, Chorus, Delay, Reverb, Compressor, Pump, EQ, Phaser, Flanger, Limiter and Shifter.
05 — SEQUENCING
From held notes to complete rhythmic phrases.
The arpeggiator includes direction, rate, gate, swing, probability, ratchets and octave control. Scale tools keep generated material focused.
The 32-step sequencer provides Value, Pitch, Octave, Velocity and Gate lanes. Send Notes turns the pattern into a note generator; when it is disabled, the same step system remains available as a modulation source. Euclidean generation, rotation, probability, swing and per-step control support compact techno loops, longer movement and cinematic pulses.
06 — PLAY MODE
A larger keyboard when performance becomes the focus.
Expand the on-screen keyboard into the iPad-only Play view for more direct note control, then return to the full instrument without leaving the current sound.
07 — PRESETS
238 factory presets, plus a free expansion.
VOLTRA includes 238 factory presets covering sequences, basses, bleeps, acid, percussion, resonant tones, dark atmospheres, impacts and cinematic textures. The Preset Browser separates Factory, User and Expansion content and provides search, categories, tags and favorites. Factory Expansion 01 adds 22 presets from the internal Store at no additional cost, bringing the installed library to 260 presets.

Sound and sequence generation without a server. Category-aware preset and sequence generation runs locally on the iPad. Core synthesis, audio processing, modulation and sequencing do not require an account or internet connection.

Dark, Steel, Blueprint and Dawn give VOLTRA four distinct studio moods on iPad.
09 — PRIVACY
Your sound stays on your device.
VOLTRA does not collect personal data, audio, MIDI, presets, sequences or usage activity. It contains no advertising, third-party analytics or tracking. Audio processing and creative generation run locally on the iPad.
Preset and expansion import and preset export happen only when you choose files through the iPadOS document interface.
